This project will enhance soybean grower profitability by helping growers make informed decisions regarding the response of soybean canopy development, nodulation, grain quality, and yield to starter fertilizer based on planting date. Additionally, an economic analysis will be conducted to help enhance soybean grower profitability. Results of this study will be directly disseminated to Ohio soybean growers at Extension meetings, fact sheets, and the C.O.R.N. newsletter. The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years.
