Winter nursery is an essential component of a successful soybean breeding and genetic program. In Costa Rica, three soybean crops can be grown each year and crossing can be made in off-season (winter time in Missouri) and year-round.

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years.
