Brief Project Summary:

Crop insurance programs are constantly changing and new information regarding the practicality and feasibility for insurance programs available to Mississippi soybean producers is needed. This analysis will utilize crop yield and revenue risk simulation models developed by the Agricultural Economic Department. The study will also incorporate farm programs and forward pricing strategies to give a more complete analysis of soybean risk management.
