Brief Project Summary:

The primary objective of this research project is to determine the factors impacting Mississippi soybean basis and to develop tools for mitigating the growing basis risk. This funding will allow for the compilation of local cash price information for the analysis. The results of the research will be made available to Extension personnel and Mississippi soybean producers. Understanding the basis is key in making risk management and marketing decisions.
