Brief Project Summary:

The researchers will evaluate the effects of soil water logging and drought stress on soybean yield and the deposition of protein, oil and carbohydrates in soybean seed. The researchers will also determine how seed carbohydrates are affected by maturity, environmental conditions during seed fill and post-harvest storage conditions. In addition, the researchers will evaluate the impact that modern breeding practices have had on seed quality traits.

Final Project Results

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
