Brief Project Summary:

Farmers in Louisiana have seen an increase in the frequency and severity of potassium deficiencies, especially in regions where potassium nutrition was not a problem. One potential explanation for this is the continuing increases in yields of both soybean and corn. This study will investigate late season potassium deficiencies and the beneficial use foliar potassium products in preventing potassium deficiencies in Louisiana.
