Brief Project Summary:

The Graduate Student Soybean Research Support Program provides graduate students with funding for specific soybean research projects. Graduate students advised by faculty in the OSU Soybean Research Center are eligible to write and submit grant proposals for up to $10,000. Successful research projects are expected to ‘drive innovation.’ Funded students are required to disseminate their results in professional society or extension meetings. The program gives students experience in grant writing and data presentation to support their professional development, and funds to conduct the research required for their degree programs. This helps train the next generation of soybean researchers, and support research programs of faculty in the OSU Soybean Research Center.

Key Benefactors:
farmers, agronomists, extension agents
