Information And Results
Project Deliverables

* High-performance soy-carbon from low-cost starting materials (soybean hulls/meals) for battery industries
* Soy-carbon with tunable porosity and nitrogen content for commercial applications (could be used in other applications such as water purification, catalysts, etc.)
* Advanced batteries with high energy and power densities using soy-carbon
* Create a new demand for value-added applications of low-cost soybean by-products for electronic industries
* File a patent on the new technology/products and works towards commercialization in partnership with MSMC
* New skilled workforce within the United States

Final Project Results

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
